COVID-19 At-Home Tests now available at Brown County Public Library

COVID testing just got more convenient! All Brown County Public Library locations are now distributing at-home COVID-19 test kits. These tests are free of charge, and may be picked up curbside while the library is open, or from a locker when the library is closed. The tests were purchased by the state of Ohio for widespread distribution to the public.

Test kits are not for people who are already feeling sick. Instead, we encourage you to see a health care professional if you feel unwell. The test kits available at the library are intended to be used when you want to ensure that you are not a contagion threat to others. For instance, are you planning to visit family, go on vacation, or want to get back to work. Be safe and test at home!

The at-home test kits require a free virtual session with a medical professional. You will need a device capable of downloading the app in order to take the test. If you do not have, or are uncomfortable using, the required technology, please use another COVID testing method.

Due to the medical nature of the tests and safety requirements, library staff cannot assist with using the test kit, and tests cannot be conducted at the library. eMed Customer Support is available at 844-943-0061. You may pick up test kits for friends or family members.
