Tired of being cooped up? Children and adults of all ages are invited to join Brown County Public Library’s Summer Reading Program and attend our free events! While adults have had years to fine-tune their reading skills, the progress that students make during the school year can be easily lost during the summer months. The pandemic has caused additional setbacks for students. Participating in the Summer Reading Program helps to bridge gaps in academic achievement. Brown County Public Library staff are eager to help students succeed. We have fun, exciting programs planned to keep everyone reading and learning all summer.
Our theme for 2021 is “Tails and Tales.” Learn about animals from all over the world! Registrants will receive their own lanyard, library card holder, and registration button when they sign up. Earn buttons and prizes for reading, attending events, and watching virtual programs. Every week we will offer new crafts, story time events, and family programs.
Each branch has unique events planned to suit the interests of all ages. Registration is required for most events due to space limitations. As always, the Brown County Public Library offers programs free of charge. Visit your local branch or contact us today:
