The Georgetown Library will be closed through October 3, 2021. The Library’s lower level and elevator experienced significant damage when a water pipe burst on August 31, 2021. Although the building is closed to patrons, library staff are available from 9am– 4pm, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The staff will happily retrieve books for patrons for curbside pickup, answer questions about patron’s accounts and hand out COVID tests. A re-opening with limited service is tentatively planned for Monday, October 4, 2021. But there will still be no access to the lower level, and children’s and teen materials will be unavailable. Thank you for your patience as we restore our facility to full working order. Please check back for further updates.
