Cowpokes & Coffee, Sardinia Library’s western book club, meets Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 9:30am-10:30am. We will discuss A Good Day For a Massacre: A Slash and Pecos Western by William W. Johnstone and J.A. Johnstone. Former Cutthroats Jimmy “Slash” Braddock and Melvin “the Pecos River Kid” Baker are finding making an honest living harder than they at first thought. Once the gold shipment they were guarding is robbed, they must track down the bandits with the aid of lady Pinkerton detective Hattie Friendly.
