Children and teens are invited to visit our Valentine Make and Take Craft Station at Georgetown Library February 6 – February 11, 2023 to create unique and original valentines. The station will be available during regular library hours.  All materials are provided.  Share your wonderful creations with others to spread joy on Valentine’s Day.

Calling all children and teens ages 7-18.  Georgetown Library is seeking stories about leprechauns.  So whether your leprechaun is dancing a jig, sliding on a rainbow, or causing trouble we want to read about it.  Stories of 1 to 3 pages must be submitted from February 13, 2023, through March 13, 2023. Stories will be grouped by author’s age and winners will be announced on March 17, 2023.

Are you a local musician looking for a place to play? Sardinia Library has a gig for you! We’re extending an open invitation to jam sessions for pickers, strummers, drummers, fiddlers, and all acoustic musicians and singers in between. Meet at Sardinia Library on January 4, 2023 at 5:30pm to share with fellow musicians. 

Please bring nonelectric instruments only. Prepare to take your turn playing a song or two while the rest of the group plays, sings or listens along.

Tweens (ages 8-12) are invited to test their skills, use their creativity, and have some fun! Come alone or bring some friends.
