Through hands-on experiences and expert-led discussions, you’ll gain valuable insight into cognitive impairment and sensory changes while learning practical strategies to improve communication and connection with loved ones facing dementia.
Presented by the Hospice of Southwest Ohio Foundation, this two-part experience includes a simulation with specialized gear that mimics dementia symptoms, followed by an engaging conversation on communication techniques that emphasize visual support, choice, emotions, and human connection.
