INVITATION TO BID

The Brown County Public Library Board of Trustees requests sealed bids for the Reroofing and Improvements for the Mary P. Shelton Public Library, located at 200 West Grant Avenue, Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
Separate and Combination Bids are requested for the following branches of work:
1. General Construction Work
2. Plumbing Work
3. Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Work
4. Electrical Work
The Brown County Public Library Board of Trustees will receive bids until 12:00 Noon on Thursday, October 3, 2013, at the Mt. Orab Public Library at 613 S. High St., P.O.Box 527, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter. All interested parties are invited to attend the Bid Opening. Award of contracts will be considered by the Board of Trustees at its next meeting, scheduled for October 9, 2013.
Bids should be sealed and clearly designated as a BID FOR REROOFING AND IMPROVEMENTS FOR MARY P. SHELTON PUBLIC LIBRARY, with Branch of Work indicated, and addressed to: Fiscal Officer, Brown County Public Library, Board of Trustees, 613 S. High Street, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.
Digital or paper copies of the Contract Documents will be available for purchase on or after Thursday, September 12, 2013, from ARC Document Solutions (formerly Queen City Reprographics), 7157 E. Kemper Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242, phone (513) 326-2300, fax (513) 326-2312, email: cincinnati@e-arc.com, website: www.e-arc.com/oh/cincinnati. Prime Bidders requesting documents by mail must contact ARC for a facsimile copy of the "Request for Bid Documents" form and return the executed request form to ARC for direct payment of printing and shipping costs.
Plans may be examined on-line at the ARC website PlanWell and may be examined by members at the plan rooms of Allied Construction Industries, 3 Kovach Dr., Cincinnati, Ohio 45215, (513) 221-8020 or Builders Exchange, 4350 Glendale-Milford Road, Suite 120, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242 (513) 769-4800.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted by the Architect on Thursday, September 26, 2013, commencing at 9:30 AM local time at the Mary P. Shelton Public Library, 200 West Grant Avenue, Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
Bidder's attention is directed to the form of Bid Bond required within the State of Ohio and the applicable provisions of the Ohio Revised Code relative to Public Works.
The Library Board of Trustees reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
