Are you ready to see the “Great American Eclipse?” The Cincinnati Observatory wants to help you prepare to view it safely with the Sardinia Library on Monday, April 1, 2024, at 5:30pm, with their program “Eclipses.” Students of all ages will learn about the different types of eclipses, why they happen, and what makes them special. Don’t get left in the dark as this type of event doesn’t happen every day!

The Sardinia Library Book Club meets on the 3^rd Wednesday of the month at 1:00pm.

What’s that sweet sound coming down? It’s Sardinia Library’s Learn to Play the Dulcimer event with in-person instructor Lindsay Willman! Learn the basics of dulcimer playing on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 5:30pm; be sure and reserve your spot by stopping by the Sardinia Library or phoning in at 937-446-1565.

The Tween Book Club (ages 8-12) meets on the third Saturday of the month. 

The Mt. Orab Library has something extra-special on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 5:30pm for you crafty bookworms and nature lovers (ages 16 and up). Come create the most beautiful, pressed flower bookmarks with us to celebrate the height of spring! Registration is required to get crafty, call 937-444-1414 to save your spot.

On Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 5pm, the Mt. Orab Library is hosting a Homeschool Hoorah! If you've been interested in the wild world of homeschooling, but don't know where to start, you're welcome to come chat with experienced homeschooling families ready to share their knowledge and love of  learning with you. To kick-off our 2024 Summer Reading Program - Adventure Begins at Your Library, we're off to see the wizard! The Mt. Orab Library presents another spectacular (and FREE) show from Madcap Puppets at the Mt. Orab Park (109 College Ave, Mt. Orab, OH). Join us at 6pm on Friday, May 31, 2024, to experience the fun of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz with your family! This program is funded in whole or in part by a grant from the Ohio Arts Council.
