Attention penguin lovers! A second session has been added (1:00pm and 2:30pm) with a limit of 125 people per session. So let’s flip for penguins when Newport Aquarium’s WAVE Foundation rolls into Georgetown. A live African penguin, and his handlers, will take center stage at the historic Gaslight Theater located at 110 E. State Street, Georgetown, Ohio. So pick your session; march over and dive into learning about penguin adaptations. From 1:30pm – 2:30pm enjoy free hotdogs and soft drinks provided by The Georgetown Police Department.

Is your family ready for an out-of-this-world adventure? Journey through space when Drake Planetarium lands at Georgetown Library (approximately 30-minutes per session). This immersive cosmic experience was sponsored in whole or in part by a Libraries Accelerating Learning grant through the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.

His book “Weird Ohio” is your guide in planning your own exciting adventures to explore the haunted places, urban legends, roadside oddities and strange things across our state. Copies of this book and several of his other books will be available for purchase ($16.00-$25.00 tax included, cash or debit/credit card accepted)

Family Traditions Animal Adventure brings the wild to you on Monday, July 15, 2024, at 5:30pm at the Sardinia Library. Learn all about animal habitat conservation efforts as a variety of exotic and domestic animals visit your hometown! No registration required! Put on your trivia cap, because on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 6:30pm, Sardinia Library presents the community-favorite team Trivia Night hosted by the Sardinia Perk, located at 121 North Main Street.
